Soludo Launches Construction of Saint Stephen’s Road

Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo officially opened the construction of Saint Stephen’s Road beside Emmanuel Church intersection, a significant hub for business activity in Onitsha, on Monday as part of Anambra State’s ongoing infrastructure development.

In carrying out the role, Soludo said that his administration has prioritized greater Onitsha since taking office, beginning with Okpoko infrastructure improvements, Ochanja garbage removal, and Onitsha environmental preservation, among other things. He said that the flag-off marks the start of what his government will accomplish in the city.

He talked on the necessity for the residents of Onitsha North One constituency to elect Barrister, the All Progressives Grand Alliance Candidate, even if the contractor promised that the road would be finished in three months. It is in their best advantage to have someone with access to government vote for Mimi Azikiwe in this Saturday’s bye-election.

In a similar vein, Mr. Tony Nworah, the mayor of the Onitsha North local council, expressed hope that more development would come to the city through Soludo, while Mr. Patrick Aghamba, the commissioner of youth development, described Onitsha as a peculiar place with only one monarch and thanked the governor for his contributions to the city, including the water revolution, road infrastructure, free education, and so forth.
