President Bola Tinubu has offered his heartfelt condolences to the Chief Imam of the Aso Rock Presidential Villa, Sheikh Abdulwahid Sulaiman, on the passing of his mother, Hajiya Fatima Abubakar Sulaiman.

Hajiya Fatima departed at 101 in Kaduna on Monday and left a remarkable legacy of faith, family devotion, and unwavering commitment to community service. Her profound impact resonates in the life and work of her son, the Chief Imam.

In a statement by presidential spokesman, Bayo Onanuga, on Wednesday, President Tinubu prayed for Allah’s boundless mercy upon Hajiya Fatima’s soul and for strength and solace for Sheikh Sulaiman and his family during this mourning period.

The President encouraged the family to find comfort in the knowledge that Hajiya Fatima’s blessed life and legacy of righteousness and service will continue to inspire future generations.

President Bola Tinubu has expressed his deepest sympathies to the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Alhaji Mohammed Idris on the passing of his beloved mother-in-law, Hajia Hauwa Yakub Usman who died at the age of 70.

The President, in a heartfelt message by his spokesman, Bayo Onanuga, conveyed his condolences to the Idris family, their in-laws, and all relatives, urging them to find strength and comfort during this difficult time.

“It is with profound sadness that I extend my condolences to you and your family on the loss of Hajia Hauwa Yakub Usman. Her legacy will undoubtedly live on through the lives she touched,” the President said.

Tinubu further prayed for the peaceful repose of Hajia Hauwa’s soul, “May Almighty Allah forgive her shortcomings, grant her eternal rest, and admit her to Aljannah Firdaus.”

Also for the bereaved family, President Tinubu prayed Allah to grant the Minister’s family the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss and provide them with solace in the cherished memories of her life and deeds.

The President’s message underscored his support for the Minister and his family during this mourning period as they reflect on the life and contributions of Hajia Hauwa, who they will miss deeply.

President Bola Tinubu has commiserated with the government and people of Ondo State over the death of Temitayo Oluwatuyi, the Secretary to the State Government (SSG).

Oluwatuyi, fondly called Tukana, died on Saturday following hospitalisation for serious injuries sustained in an accident on December 15, 2024.

The President, in a statement by his spokesman, Bayo Onanuga, condoled with the political stalwart’s family, friends, and political associates.
