Nollywood actress, Adunni Ade has mentioned she finds talking Yoruba language draining, including that it typically hurts her nerves.
She mentioned this when she featured in a latest episode of the Channels Tv programme, Morning Transient.
The thespian born to a German-American mom and a Nigerian father of Yoruba descent, mentioned she prefers English which is Nigeria’s lingua franca, stressing that each one the opposite languages needs to be put apart.
She mentioned, “Talking Yoruba is draining, typically it hurts my nerves. The primary language that we all know in Nigeria is English. Let’s put all the opposite languages apart.”
She, nonetheless, appreciated that her father introduced her to Nigeria to study the Nigerian tradition, language, and every part Nigerian.
