On Friday, a 100-level Taraba State University (TSU) student named Jalingo was discovered dead in her boyfriend’s apartment.
A student of mass communication from Taraba State’s Takum Local Government Area was the victim, who went by Comfort Jimtop.
It was said that her body was found in the afternoon, and that empty alcohol bottles were found next to the bed where she was lying.
15 residents, including her boyfriend, lived in the compound where the incident occurred, according to sources. According to reports, as soon as the house was discovered, all of the residents left.
Police Public Relations Officer in Taraba, ASP Leshen James, confirmed the development and stated that the boyfriend, Emmanuel Shata, and other renters were being sought.
There was no one inside the house when our men got there. “The house had been abandoned by the boyfriend and other tenants,” James said reporters.
He also mentioned that an inquiry into Comfort’s death’s cause had started.
Our efforts to find the boyfriend and the escaping tenants are intense. James stated that a comprehensive inquiry would be conducted to ascertain the cause of the incident.
