After departing from New Delhi, India, President Bola Tinubu will make a technical stop in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the Emirati nation, where he will meet with the UAE government.
“The meeting will serve as a follow-up discussion to address specific, salient issues within the bilateral relationship after conversations held during a recent visit by the UAE Ambassador to the President at the State House in Abuja,” said Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, in a statement he signed on Sunday.
President Tinubu will meet UAE authorities during a stopover in Abu Dhabi, according to the press release.
According to Ngelale, the President will take care of outstanding bilateral issues while making the most of the chance to further his investment promotion goals with top officials in the public and commercial sectors of the UAE.
The gathering on Sunday comes after a five-day investment drive and participation in the G-20 Summit.
Tinubu welcomed investment commitments totaling roughly $14 billion in the pharmaceutical, electricity, petrochemical, and agricultural industries at a roundtable with Indian business executives last Wednesday.
Following the bilateral interaction, “The President is anticipated to return to Abuja,” reads the statement.
