South African comedian and media personality, Trevor Noah, is set to make a movie on the life of eight-year-old Nigerian chess genius, Tani Adewumi.
Tani became an international sensation after a big win at the New York chess championship.
Although, a release date is yet to be known but according to reports, the movie is based on tracing the story of the Adewumi family and their triumph over obstacles in the US where they sought asylum.
According to BOTWC, the story will be done by HarperCollins Publishing and the movie right was taken by Paramount.
Meanwhile, Noah and his partner, Haroon Saleem will be producing the film under Day Zero productions.
Also, the story will feature themes such as love, faith, peace, community, fate in a way that would inspire everyone who sees it.
