A corps member of the National Youth Service Corps, Segun Coker, who serves in Ogun State and his yet-to-be-identified brother have survived a lone accident along the Magboro axis of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
The accident, City Round gathered, occurred at the Chinese area of the expressway on Friday afternoon.
When our correspondent visited the scene, he confirmed that the corpse member and his younger brother survived the crash but sustained minor injuries.
The accident caused damage to the Lexus 350 car with the number plate 576DOG with its airbags exhaustively released.
Describing how the accident occurred, Coker said, “I had to avoid a car obstructing me so I turned my steering, if not the accident would have affected more than three cars. The car hit the median and tumbled twice, landing beside this water.
“If not for the belt, I am not sure we’ll be breathing again. I thank God that it’s not more than this. The experience was a horror, and my neck is really paining me.”
The Ogun State Federal Road Safety Corps marshals who were at the scene rushed the corps member to an unnamed hospital for treatment.
Confirming the incident, the FRSC spokesman in Ogun State, Florence Okpe told our correspondent that no life was lost in the auto crash.
