Dr. Sandra Duru, a US-based activist who goes by Professor Mgbeke, has provided many international agencies with phone conversation proof between herself and suspended Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan for forensic analysis.
The Nation reports that Dr. Duru shared snippets of these discussions on a Facebook live broadcast Thursday night, claiming they provided insight into the reasons behind Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan’s sexual harassment claims against Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
In contrast to Natasha’s earlier claim that they had never communicated, the activist disclosed phone logs and messages.
Duru also said that Natasha had promised her ₦200 million in exchange for accusing Akpabio of organ harvesting and saying that he was responsible for a young girl’s death a few years prior. After her attempts to investigate the claims of sexual harassment against Akpabio failed, this was allegedly recommended.
Duru questioned Natasha’s years-long quiet before abruptly charging Akpabio and called for an inquiry by the Nigeria Police Force, the IPU, and international security organizations. She referred to Umoren’s murder case, which is still pending, and asked Natasha to clarify her knowledge of the occurrence.
During the one-hour live session, Duru accused Natasha of having no concrete proof of harassment against Akpabio and characterized her actions as a conscious effort to destroy men.
To support her allegations, Duru also provided additional information, such as call logs and messages from Natasha.
First, there is no indication of any form of sexual harassment, and second, there is no proof of organ harvesting. You are a pathological liar and have brought shame to Nigeria, I told Natasha. She claimed that Nigerians were “gillible and hungry,” or G and H. Do you want to make their troubles worse? Duru said.

She went on: “I told her to talk to the senators, but she insisted they wanted to overthrow the Yoruba government, and I didn’t know what she meant by that,” she said. Natasha is an irresponsible lawyer who lacks moral principles, humility, and teachability. If it doesn’t work out for her, she doesn’t care. You are Natasha’s enemy if you disagree with her. She is determined to ruin guys. I cannot allow her to destroy our men, our boys, or our daughters who follow her blindly. Duru continued, “She even referred to Dr. Oby Ezekwesili as a useful idiot.”
Citing Natasha’s assertions that she sought to convince the Senate President to resign as part of a larger plan to overthrow what she called the “Yoruba government,” Duru requested the Nigerian police to look into her baseless accusations.
“Umoren died in 2021, and an autopsy confirmed there was no organ harvesting involved,” Duru added in reference to Umoren’s passing.
The activist further stated that she had previously notified foreign organizations about Natasha’s allegations of the murder and urged Natasha to provide more details about her knowledge or involvement in the event.
