“We Won’t Carry You Along If You’re Not With Us” – David Mark Declares to Coalition Members

Members have been cautioned by David Mark, the African Democratic Congress’s (ADC) acting national chairman, that the party will not tolerate any anti-party behavior or lack of discipline.
According to reports, the former Senate President revealed this information to a group of ADC members in Abuja.
Mark emphasized that under his leadership, only dedicated ADC members will be carried along, saying that there is no middle ground in the coalition.

“Any kind of indiscipline or anti-party sentiment will not be tolerated; you are either in ADC or you are not,” he declared.

“If you are not with us in the middle of this business, we will not take them with us.

“We will not support those who are not fully committed.”

In order to reflect contemporary realities, we will flip our grassroots leadership structures from the polling station level up to the national level. Each organ was revitalized.

“By reflecting this in our nominations, policies, and roles, we will open the gates for the next generations.”

On Tuesday, however, ADC declared that it now has more than 100 elected legislators nationwide and 28 senators.

During its National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting in Abuja, the party reportedly provided this update.

The ADC has been gaining strength at the state and national levels, according to Ralph Nwosu, the party’s founder and first National Chairman.

According to him, this development resulted from the party’s choice to turn down financial offers meant to change its course and lessen its influence as an opposition voice.

Nwosu clarified that the party’s reluctance to be influenced by financial gain has drawn serious politicians and increased public trust.

In the House of Representatives, the ADC now has over 46 members, and in various state assemblies, it has over 50 lawmakers.

According to him, the party’s total elected officials have surpassed 100 and are continually growing.
