Shehu Sani, a former lawmaker, has challenged Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, the immediate past governor of Kaduna State, to make public his assets by publishing the content of the form he filed with the Code of Conduct Bureau.

Sani claimed El-Rufai left a large debt profile for the State, despite his claim that he never stole from its coffers.

Sani slammed the former Governor in a post on his verified Twitter account on Wednesday, saying he is now back to ‘blogging on Twitter’.

El-Rufai, according to the social critic, is awaiting a political appointment from President Bola Tinubu after working for Rotimi Amaechi, Tinubu’s candidate in the party primary.

“Mr El-rufai, retired Governor now back to ‘blogging on Twitter’ while waiting for Tinubu’s political appointment, after working for Amaechi and secretly dropping negative stories and making negative stories about Tinubu,” he wrote.

“You left a massive debt profile for our children and grandchildren in Kaduna State to pay, and you claimed that you NEVER STOLE from Kaduna State’s coffers.”

“One of your stooges even stated that you are now poorer. I dare you to make your assets public by publishing the content of the forms you submitted to the Code of Conduct Bureau in 2015 and 2023.

“I’ll get back to you once you’ve completed this.”
