You’re incompetent, your law degree is useless – Atiku’s aide mocks Keyamo

Frank Shaibu, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar’s Special Assistant on Public Communications, has charged the immediate past Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo, with throwing his law certificate in the trash following his defeat at the Federal High Court in Abuja.

Keyamo’s law degree, according to Shaibu, is useless.

Keyamo had written a petition to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB), and other anti-graft agencies ahead of the election, requesting that Atiku be arrested and prosecuted on false and unsubstantiated allegations.

Keyamo, eager to please his paymasters, did not wait up to three days for the EFCC and other agencies to act on his petition but instead filed a suit in court seeking an order mandating the agencies to act on his petition.

On Monday, Justice James Omotosho dismissed Keyamo’s suit as incompetent and fined him N10 million.

In response to the latest development, Shaibu stated that the latest judgement reflected Keyamo’s incompetence as a lawyer.

According to Shaibu, the verdict proves that the former minister was only interested in cheap politics.

According to Shaibu, “Justice Omotosho has confirmed Keyamo’s incompetence.” One has to wonder how he got to be a senior advocate. Despite several clarifications that the allegations against Atiku were fabricated, Keyamo refused to listen to logic.

“Rather than acting like the refined lawyer that one would expect from a senior advocate, he chose to act like a political jobber.” He has now been humiliated in front of the entire world. Was this a man who worked for the legendary Chief Gani Fwehinmi? What a pity!”

Keyamo’s latest defeat, according to Shaibu, was not surprising given that he had lost many high-profile cases in court while working as an EFCC prosecutor.

“When the jobless former minister filed the frivolous case, we informed Nigerians that he would lose,” he added. The prediction was consistent with his history as a failed EFCC prosecutor. Today, we have been vindicated.

“He was the EFCC prosecutor in the case against Governor Timipre Sylva, but he lost.” He also lost representing the EFCC against Femi Fani-Kayode.

“Keyamo did not fare any better in his case against the Lagos State House of Assembly during the Tinubu certificate scandal, marked ID/639M/99.” The case of Dimeji Bankole, former Speaker of the House of Representatives, in which Keyamo was the lead prosecutor, also ended in a shambles.

“Keyamo made a name for himself by filing frivolous lawsuits to amuse the media.” He needs to toss his law degree in the trash so he can focus on his job as a social media influencer.”
