Atiku, Obi commiserate with Davido over son’s death

The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar, and his Labour Party counterpart, Peter Obi, have commiserated with singer Davido, and his lover, Chioma Rowland, over the death of their son, Ifeanyi Adeleke.

TheNigerian News reported that Davido’s son, Ifeanyi drowned in a private swimming pool at the family’s residence in Lagos, on Monday.

Mourning the three-year-old, Atiku prayed to God to strengthen and comfort the bereaved family.

In a tweet, he wrote: “My thoughts and prayers are with Davido and Chioma and the Adeleke family at this time. I pray for God to strengthen and comfort them. -AA”

Similarly, Peter Obi prayed for healing, strength and comfort for the family in this trying time.

“I send my sincere condolences to Davido and Chioma, over the death of their son Ifeanyi. I cannot begin to imagine the pains they are going through at the moment. May God grant them healing, strength and comfort in this trying time. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.-PO,” the former Anambra state governor tweeted.
