The portal was inaugurated in the United Kingdom in 2016 and has consistently demonstrated fair, unbiased and transparent reportage of evolving developmental issues across the globe and particularly feeding its international audience with accurate, facts-filled and truthful reports in and around the globe.

TheNigerian is part of a media conglomerate under Patriot and Sage Communications Limited. Others are Television Nigerian and African Patriot Radio, its visual and audio arm respectively on hybrid plan currently streaming in social media platforms as well as a monthly magazine known as TheNigerian Tabloid.
