Members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) branch in Oyo State have chosen Moses Alake Adeyemo, a former deputy governor of the state, to serve as the party’s chairman.
On Tuesday, the party’s state congress made the statement.
The convention took place at Ibadan’s Obafemi Awolowo Stadium in Oke Ado.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) representatives also saw it.
According to our correspondent, Adeyemo was the deputy of Abiola Ajimobi, the state’s most recent governor, who in office from 2011 to 2019.
He is from the Oyo State geopolitical zone of Oke Ogun.
Wasiu Olawale Sadare was re-elected to the position of party publicity secretary.
