According to Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), President Bola Tinubu’s encouragement and commitment to timely project completion are the primary drivers of the region’s infrastructural development.
After examining ongoing projects in the Federal Capital Territory, Wike made this statement on Wednesday in Abuja. He emphasized that Tinubu closely monitored project development because of his strong dedication to the welfare of FCT residents and the provision of high-quality services.
“Mr. President is not only providing us with support, but also making sure that the jobs are finished on schedule and to the expected quality,” he stated. From Ring Road II to the FCT Fire Service Station in Kaura District, on Arterial Road S1.
Wike expressed optimism that the project will be completed and turned over within the next five months, praising the quality and speed of the work.
Additionally, he observed the construction of two student dorms, one for men and one for women. He was pleased with the female dorm, which was supposed to be finished by November.
“I think the contractor working on the female hostel is doing a great job, and we should help him maintain the same pace.” Although it appears to be a nice effort, I’m not entirely happy with the work that has been completed thus far.
Wike stated that the contractor has committed to delivering by October or November, notwithstanding the possibility of some uncertainty.
Additionally, he stated that the contractor will soon start building the school’s auditorium.
