‘They’re More Confused Now’ — Bwala Mocks ADC

Daniel Bwala, an aide to the president, says that the African Democratic Congress (ADC) can’t build a viable coalition.

He said in a post on 𝕏 that the way the ADC is set up and how it works internally make it unable to handle political challenges.

Bwala said in the post that he had predicted trouble in the party before, and that recent events have proven him right.

“I said this six months ago, and if you want to know why ADC is more confused than the crazy man who used to give Gregory advice, here are the facts,” he wrote.

He then criticized what he called the party members’ “too much ambition,” saying, “A party where everyone wants to be president (selfish) cannot build a strong opposition.”

The president’s aide also criticized how the party’s leadership structure came about, saying, “A party built on hostile take-over cannot survive the storm.”

Bwala also said that the party was inconsistent and didn’t have a clear ideological direction. He said, “A party where the members have double standards that they apply to people cannot see road,” and “A party where the presidential candidates have changed political parties like chameleons cannot have ideology.”

He also questioned the party’s leadership’s motives, saying, “A party where their leaders see Nigerians as a means to an end cannot coordinate,” and warned that desperation among its leaders could make it harder to govern.

He went on to say, “A party where their leaders are desperate is a do-or-die situation that can’t govern Nigerians.”

Bwala ended by saying that the party’s current problems are a sign of deeper structural problems.

“Lastly, have you not noticed that they are more confused now than when they started their journey? I said it before: “Give them six months and they will crash.” It’s clear to see now. He said, “Say no to the association of desperate congregation (ADC).”
