Governor Namadi Tells Appointees: Deliver for the People or Step Down

As part of his administration’s main goal of promoting unity and mutual support, Jigawa State Governor Umar Namadi has told all political appointees to put the needs of people at the grassroots first.

Zainab S. Rabo, SSA Media Affairs to the Governor, signed a press release that said this.

She said the governor said this at a meeting of stakeholders on Sunday at the Banquet Hall in Government House, Dutse.

The governor stressed that governance should be focused on people and urged those who are appointed to be kind, responsive, and dedicated to making life better for all citizens.

He said again that the main goal of his administration is to help each other, and he told all officials to strengthen their ties with the people and meet their needs.

Governor Namadi also said that real leadership is shown by serving others, being kind, and being committed to the health and happiness of the people.

The governor’s comments come at a time when more and more people are complaining about some politicians not helping people get what they need and not supporting them.

He said that some of these people who were chosen said they had nothing to offer, even though they were getting something.
Gov. Namadi said, “Anyone who thinks they don’t earn enough to help the public should quit.”
