Funke Akindele, a well-known Nollywood actress, revealed why she stopped going to church.
In a Snapchat video on Sunday, the actress revealed that she quit attending church because people would frequently focus more on her than the service.
The actress stated that she now participates in church services virtually while clarifying that she is constantly the subject of photographs.
“Every time I go to church, they always take pictures of me,” Akindele remarked. I shall so participate virtually.
Recall that Akindele publicly identified as a member of the Celestial Church of Christ in 2022.
“I go to the Celestial church in private at night to find answers whenever I have difficulties. But I have to come out of hiding.
