Primate Elijah Ayodele, the Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has predicted that the All Progressive Congress, APC, will come to an abrupt end if President Bola Tinubu and his Vice, Kashim Shettima, fly on the same ticket in 2027.
In a statement signed by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, Primate Ayodele said another Muslim-Muslim ticket will be rejected nationally and internationally.
The prophet disclosed that it would be a political suicide for Tinubu to proceed with the same faith ticket as it would cost the party a lot and would reduce the party’s chances of retaining the presidential seat.
He said: “It will be political suicide for Tinubu and Shettima to be on the same ticket for the 2027 presidential election.
“Tinubu should see it as the end of the APC as a party because people will stand against it.
“Even the Muslims and the forces of nature in Nigeria will be against it. Such a ticket will result in national and international battles for the president and this will reduce the chances of the APC holding onto victory in 2027.”
Similarly, Primate Ayodele disclosed that the President would also lose a lot if he dropped Shettima as a running mate.
He said Tinubu will be in a dilemma.
Also, Tinubu will pay dearly for not picking Shettima. He will pay what he does not expect and he will be confused.
Primate Ayodele said the administration has been a mistake from the beginning they decided to go with a Muslim-Muslim ticket. “It’s going to be tough to pay for the consequences, or fix the mistake,” he said.
He noted that God has never been in support of the government and there will be more issues to be faced by President Tinubu.
“From the time they decided to do a Muslim-Muslim ticket, the government is an error, and it will be difficult to correct.
“God has never been in support of the government, that’s why a lot of things are happening. It will be difficult for the president; only God can have mercy on him,” he added.
