The African Action Congress, AAC 2027 presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore, has described President Bola Tinubu as lazy and clueless.
Sowore said Tinubu has no workable solution to Nigeria’s insecurity.
He said this against the backdrop of the killings in Plateau and Oyo States and Tinubu’s failure to fulfil his promise to deploy 5,000 Artificial Intelligence, AI, surveillance cameras to address insecurity.
He wrote: “Your lethargic and clueless president, Bola Ahmed Tinubu @officialabat, has no effective solution to Nigeria’s worsening insecurity.
“Following the Plateau State killings, he vowed to deploy 5,000 AI-enabled surveillance cameras and the violence persists.
“After the abduction of schoolchildren in Oyo State, he announced the deployment of 1,000 forest guards, but kidnappings continue. #TinubuMustGoNOW #OccupyAsoRock.”
The activist politician also said he stands firmly with the Nigerian workers in the demand for a living wage of N500,000 monthly.
The nation’s consciousness requires a leader with a conscience, a leader who can wake up the people and make sure they never again sleep on their rights and dignity.
‘In this tough Tinubu economy, it is known by everyone who earns a salary that no human can live decently on N100,000 a month, yet those in position of authority have kept quiet.
The suffering is there for all to see, the injustice is there for all to see, but too many have opted for complacency instead of courage. “A society progresses when its people become conscious of their condition and refuse to accept poverty, exploitation and inequality as normal,” he said.
