Recently, xenophobic tensions have left many residents in fear. Nigerians evacuated from South Africa have arrived in Lagos.
The evacuees arrived at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, on Thursday, via an Air Peace aircraft.

Their return came after the Federal Government’s efforts in response to renewed attacks on foreign nationals in South Africa.
Earlier, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs had said that the first group would come back on Thursday morning.
