Award-winning artiste, Innocent Idibia, fondly known as 2face or 2baba, has celebrated his son Innocent Junior, on his 12th birthday.
In a post via Instagram on Tuesday, 2baba promised to make up for lost time.
The artiste shared his son’s picture alongside the post with a goodwill message.
While noting that although he cannot turn back the hands of time, he promised to make up for the days he missed.
“Innocent idibia jnr. Jah guide and protect you always. Mere words can’t express how and what I feel. Now now like play like play.
“So many good things I wish for u. U shall excel in all you choose to do. I can’t turn back the hands of time but know will make up for all the days that I’ve missed. No excuse. I pray the Universe be good to u. Massive birthday blessings my son. #WARRIOR #GRATEFUL. Bless up @perosaiyemi,” he wrote.

During a podcast interview in August 2023, singer, who has seven children from different women, spoke about people questioning his parenting style.
He said: “Many people talk about kids, fatherhood, motherhood, all that whole circle. Many people talk about it with public opinion type of thinking. But it’s deeper than that. There’s nobody that has the exact blueprint for this thing.
“The basic truth of the whole matter is the connection with you and your children . There are so many different ways to find it. There’s no one rule or one particular way.
“I speak to my kids like they are my mates. I don’t boss them around. I talk to them the way I talk to my friends and mom.”
