5 individuals have been confirmed lifeless in an accident at NASFAT turning on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway on Wednesday.
Ten others sustained accidents within the accident.
Mrs Florence Okpe, the spokesperson of the Federal Highway Security Corps, FRSC, in Ogun, confirmed the incident to newsmen in Abeokuta.
Okpe famous that the incident occurred at 9:56am and it concerned a Daf truck marked KUT 561 ZZ, a Toyota Hiace bus marked GGE 84 YF and a Man diesel truck with no registration quantity.
She mentioned the seemingly reason for the accident was harmful driving on the a part of one of many vans.
” A complete of 15 individuals have been concerned, which comprised 11 males and 4 ladies.
” Ten have been injured (six males and 4 ladies) whereas 5 individuals have been killed from the a number of crash,” she mentioned.
The FRSC spokesperson mentioned the injured victims have been taken to Famobis Hospital, Mowe whereas the deceased have been deposited at Idera Hospital morgue, Sagamu.
The Sector Commander, Anthony Uga, cautioned motorists on velocity and reckless driving, advising them to drive defensively for security.
