Governor Namadi sacks Special Assistant on gender

The position of Khadija Sidi Suleiman, Special Assistant to the Governor on Gender, has been relieved by Jigawa State Governor Malam Umar A. Namadi.

The Secretary to the Government, Malam Bala Ibrahim, signed a statement that said this.

“The development takes effect immediately,” the statement read.

The statement further stated that she no longer has any rights or privileges related to her position.

It asked her to promptly turn over all government property under her control to the Jigawa State Government’s Secretary’s office.

The government expressed gratitude for her service and extended best wishes for her future endeavors.
