Military soldiers protested a power outage by storming the Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company (IKEDC) offices.
The officers, who were in full military uniform, showed up at the office across from MITV in Ikeja, Lagos, at approximately 7:40 a.m. on Thursday, according to witnesses.
The military guys are accused of physically assaulting some employees.
There have been reports that IKEDC turned off the energy supply to the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) installation in Lagos because the bills were not paid. Without electricity, the action left the base.

According to sources, an agreement was reached wherein the Air Force would pay IKEDC N60 million each month in return for 10 to 12 hours of daily electrical delivery. However, it was claimed that the base still had frequent blackouts in spite of payments.
The operation was reportedly led by a female military officer, and despite police involvement, the personnel refused to leave.
