Wike’s Work as FCT Minister Unaffected by Rivers Politics – Olayinka

Lere Olayinka, Nyesom Wike’s Senior Special Assistant on Public Communication, stated that his principal’s political activities in Rivers State had no bearing on his ministerial duties.
According to reports, Olayinka stated that the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister would become irrelevant as a politician if he did not participate in politics at all times and places.
He clarified that the Minister has been carrying out his mandate to the people of the Federal Capital Territory in an interview with TVC on Thursday.

He brushed off any rumors that the former governor of Rivers State was distracted due to his political participation in Rivers.

“You are dealing with someone who has a lot of energy, and that is the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike,” he said. Even I frequently question him, “Where do you get this energy from?” There is no denying that he exudes that enthusiasm. He is able to multitask. As you can see, his occasional political involvement has not in any way his actions, his effectiveness as an FCT minister has remained unaffected.

Therefore, there is no reason for concern. As a politician, it is his responsibility to participate in state, national, and international politics, and he is doing just that. If you are a politician and no one is discussing you, you are effectively out of the game.

He is not preoccupied, and let me add that no human being is able to solve every issue. There is no question about whether the minister is meeting his obligations, even though he is unable to address every issue facing the FCT.

“You can ask people in the FCT, taxi drivers, and passersby on the streets, and they will all tell you that Wike is at work.” Therefore, that is what matters and everything else he does is irrelevant.
