Amid growing violence in several regions of the nation, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has held a meeting behind closed doors with senior security officers.
In the Aso Rock Presidential Villa, the President’s official residence, the meeting started just after 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Growing insecurity, especially in the Plateau, Benue, and Borno States, is the reason behind it.
Earlier in the afternoon, a large number of vehicles drove into the Villa with service officials, including the Inspector-General of Police, the heads of the Army, Navy, and Air Force.
