Breaking: Lagos Local Government Chairman Dies

Following the passing of its Executive Chairman, Musibau Asafa, the Oto-Awori Local Council Development Area in Lagos State has entered a state of mourning.
According to a statement released on Saturday by the deceased’s chief press secretary, Bodunrin Ayodele, Asafa passed away following a protracted struggle with illness.

Ayodele stated that his principle passed away in spite of the efforts of medical experts, although he did not reveal the exact time of the chairman’s passing.

“The Oto-Awori Local Council Development Area is in mourning after the death of its Executive Chairman, Prince Musibau Adekunle Asafa,” the statement said.

A distinguished statesman, leader, and devoted public servant, Prince Asafa passed away from a protracted illness, leaving behind a legacy of dedication and service to the people he served.

After a protracted fight with illness, Prince Asafa’s death was confirmed, according to a close family member. His family, friends, and coworkers were left in shock and despair when he passed away despite the best efforts of medical specialists.

It is anticipated that well-wishers, local authorities, and government representatives who had the honor of working with him would offer their condolences and tributes as word of his demise spreads. Prince Asafa’s dedication to bettering the lives of his citizens was a defining characteristic of his leadership, and the local government will greatly miss his efforts.

The loss of a devoted employee will be mourned by many at Oto-Awori LCDA. May his legacy endure, and may the recollections of his life and devotion bring comfort to his family.

Through the Somolu LGA social media pages on Saturday, Abdul-Hamed Salawu, the Executive Chairman of the Somolu Local Government Area, also expressed his condolences to Oto-Awori LCDA on the chairman’s passing.

In the post, it was stated that Prince Musbau Adekunle Asafa, the executive chairman of Oto-Awori LCDA, had passed away. “The executive chairman of Somolu Local Government, Abdul-Hammed Salawu, has sent the condolences of the Executive, Legislature, Management, and the people of Somolu Local Government to the people of Oto-Awori LCDA and APC family.”

“May his kind spirit rest in eternal peace.”
