The All Progressives Congress (APC) has completed its primaries to pick candidates for the party’s ticket ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The list of candidates that emerged from across the country was reportedly dominated by former governors and sitting legislators, some of whom would be finishing their terms by 2027.
However, some senatorial districts are yet to produce candidates as primary elections either hold results are inconclusive or the exercise is yet to be conducted as a result of internal wrangling, zoning disagreements, logistical problems and postponements.
