The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited’s (NNPC Ltd.) Group Chief Executive Officer, Engineer Bashir Bayo Ojulari, visited the Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG) Plant in Bonny on Wednesday.
Ojulari commended NLNG management during the visit for playing a crucial part in propelling Nigeria’s industrial development, economic stability, and energy transformation.
He also emphasized NNPCL’s dedication to supporting NLNG’s long-term growth as a significant stakeholder.
In order to prepare Nigeria’s energy sector for a competitive, low-carbon, and net-zero future, he revealed ambitious plans to strengthen gas infrastructure and investigate new avenues for clean energy innovation.
Ojulari emphasized NLNG’s Train 7 project’s strategic importance, calling it a pillar for increasing Nigeria’s export potential, creating thousands of employment, and strengthening the country’s position in the world energy market.

It is anticipated that the project will greatly increase NLNG’s production capacity, hence enhancing Nigeria’s standing as a major LNG exporter.
In addition, the CEO of NNPC Ltd. praised NLNG’s strong governance structure, steadfast dedication to sustainability, and excellent asset integrity, describing them as symbols of operational excellence and a source of pride for the country.
