ADC’s Nwosu Dismisses Claims of Hidden Agenda on INEC Declaration: ‘David Mark Is Transparent

John Chuma Nwosu, the African Democratic Congress’ (ADC) candidate for governor of Anambra State, has praised the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for allowing the party’s National Working Committee (NWC), led by David Mark, to become a regular member.
He denied allegations that the electoral umpire was merely following a script to set up ADC for judicial destruction when speaking to reporters.

Conspiracy theories, he claimed, have no place in the exercise of democratic rights and obligations.

Nwosu emphasized that the development came as much-needed relief at a time when the public was looking for a viable alternative, and that the swift acknowledgment of the ADC’s national leadership was a significant democratic gesture for Anambra voters.

“If you remember, the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) was the alternative, and the Anambra people enthusiastically embraced the party,” he said.

Twenty-four years later, the same APGA has grown drunk on power and begun to treat the populace with contempt.

However, God has once more remembered the state as the nation’s light. Additionally, INEC has shown patriotic impartiality by regularizing ADC’s leadership.

“Therefore, I can assure you that the coalition of opposition politicians who are patriotic would come together in Anambra to start the process of saving the country.”

“There isn’t any secret agenda. ADC is now a reality; all required paperwork has been completed, and the commission has fulfilled its obligations.

Voters now have a reliable substitute for the dilapidated platforms that have been defrauding the public.

“On November 8, the people of Anambra will have adequate space to use their right to vote and choose a servant leader rather than haughty miscreants and opportunists to rule their country.

“All political parties will be forced to run campaigns centered on issues that are important to the public as a result of INEC’s actions.”
