Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has come under fire from Daniel Bwala, President Bola Tinubu’s Special Advisor on Policy Communication, for claiming that the level of hunger in Nigeria might spark a revolution.
Bwala questioned whether Atiku was deaf or unable to hear the extent of the advancements Tinubu’s government has made since taking office.
The presidential aide stated during an appearance on TVC’s Abuja Brief program that the information at hand contradicts Atiku’s assertion.
The most important thing is the concerns he has brought up; does he have a point? He stated: “National interest far outweighs the former boss or whatever.”
“He, Atiku, doesn’t because the data indicates otherwise, and what else do you expect the opposition to do besides try to demarket government in order to generate buzz about their ideas?” Other than attempting to demarket the government, what else do you think he will say? Is he blind or unaware of the advancements we have made, since he said that we are causing hunger? For instance, he won’t discuss how we have improved net exports, raised foreign exchange, and established a system that has stabilized the economy since he can’t interpret those developments.
He won’t discuss the caesarian sections that are available in all Nigerian hospitals and the fact that people don’t have to endure suffering. He ought to discuss the foundations we have established as well. Talking is cheap, therefore if someone says something is incorrect, ask them to explain because you can’t.
