Oba Rashidi Ladoja, the newly appointed 44th Olubadan of Ibadan, has received congratulations from former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.
Speaking through his 𝕏 account, Atiku predicted that the king would make a difference while in power.
He stated that he thought his administration would benefit from the depth of experience Ladoja had gained as a businessman, politician, and seasoned administrator.
He said that Ladoja’s diversified viewpoint is a blessing for the people of Ibadan.
“I salute my brother and fellow countryman, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja Arusa I, on his inauguration as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadan,” Atiku wrote.
“I have no doubt that Oba Ladoja will contribute his extensive background as a politician, businessman, and seasoned administrator to his new position as the Olubadan.
“I am confident that Oba Ladoja will make an imprint as Olubadan that all Ibadan’s sons and daughters, as well as those who are fans of the old city like myself, would be proud of, just as his time as governor established the model for the growth of contemporary Oyo State.
“I concur with Oba Ladoja’s friends and allies in congratulating the good people of Ibadan and Oyo State in general on the start of a new and magnificent period of Oba Ladoja’s rule. -AA
