The event claimed the life of a biker who could only be identified by his serial number, 256. Earlier in the week, the attack wave in Yagba West persisted.
Three persons were kidnapped when gunmen broke into Bethel Farm in Ejiba on Wednesday, October 1.

Mass displacement has resulted from the wave of attacks. SaharaReporters published a video of the Okunran neighborhood in Yagba West on September 26, 2025, which showed vacant streets and residences after residents had fled for their lives.
There were vacant communities where inhabitants had been forced to leave their houses due to continuous attacks, according to sources.
Locals have persisted in pleading with authorities to act quickly to bring calm back to Yagba West.
