After the FIFA U-20 World Cup quarterfinal matches conclude on Sunday and early Monday, the stage is set for the semi-finals.
Morocco defeated the United States 3-1 to guarantee a spot in the final four, continuing their incredible run. Following the elimination of South Africa and Nigeria in the Round of 16, the youthful Atlas Lions are now the only African team remaining in the competition.
They will play European powerhouse France, who defeated Norway 2-1 in a close match, after defeating the USA. With France vying for another youth championship and Morocco hoping to continue their historic run, the game is sure to be one of the biggest matchups in the tournament.
Argentina and Colombia will square off in the other semi-final, providing another exciting matchup between two South American powerhouses.
Fans are excited to see who will proceed to Sunday’s grand finale, and the semi-final matches are set for Wednesday and Thursday. At 12 a.m., the final is set to begin.
