Reuben Abati, a renowned broadcaster and former presidential assistant, has praised his wife, Kikelomo Abati, calling her a source of inspiration, joy, and genuine happiness.
As he celebrated his wife’s 46th birthday on Instagram, Abati wrote a touching message expressing his love for her, whom he affectionately referred to as his “jewel” and “sunrise.”
“Happy birthday to my Jewel,” he wrote. You are one of the few women who push me to be more and challenge me intellectually—not because of your natural charm, but rather because of your motivation, self-control, and sense of purpose. You never hesitate to get your hands dirty and put in the effort. Amazing!
As he considered their union, Abati shared some advice from Prince Adelusi, his godfather:
“The happier man loves the woman he marries, but a happy man marries the girl he loves.”
He went on to say that genuine love and respect for one another are the sources of true happiness rather than material possessions.
“True happiness originates from within; it doesn’t exist on a shelf.” And really, I’ve discovered that true happiness with you,” Abati remarked.
“I appreciate everything you do, Kiki. I am fortunate to have a life partner that is so sensitive, hardworking, and kind.
