Dele-Bashiru Back in Lazio Squad as Osimhen Assists Cancer Patient

Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, a midfielder for the Super Eagles of Nigeria, has been authorized to rejoin Lazio’s Serie A team after regaining full fitness.

The 24-year-old Dele-Bashiru was cut from the team’s roster in September after suffering an injury during the Derby della Capitale match against Roma. Elseid Hysaj was pulled in while the Nigerian international recovered because of his absence.

Because he might be traveling with Nigeria for the Africa Cup of Nations in December, Lazio reportedly delayed certifying his reinstatement. Although no official decision has been made, there has also been quiet speculation within the club that he would be let to depart during the January transfer window.

Although the former Sheffield Wednesday player has only made four league appearances this season, he is anticipated to participate when Lazio plays AC Milan on Saturday at the San Siro.

Victor Osimhen, a fellow Super Eagles player, has received a lot of appreciation for contributing ₦5 million, or around £4,500, to help Aunty Esther, a well-known internet food merchant and 𝕏 personality, with her breast cancer treatment.

After a devastating video of Esther Omolola Mensah sobbing in pain and pleading for assistance from her hospital bed surfaced, Osimhen, who is currently employed by Galatasaray, intervened. Her fans were alarmed by the video, which swiftly went viral on social media and revealed the full extent of the cancer devastation to her chest.

The largest single donation to date was made on Wednesday by Osimhen. “Thank you, Uncle Victor Osimhen,” she said in a publicly published note of gratitude. May God richly bless you.

After missing Galatasaray’s 1-0 Champions League loss to Union Saint-Gilloise on Tuesday due to injury, the striker is handling his own setback. He is expected to make a comeback in time for the Turkish team’s December 1 derby match against Fenerbahçe.
