‘Done Deal’: Gov Mutfwang’s Aide Explains Why Plateau Governor Is Joining APC

Mr. Istifanus Nwansat, Plateau State Governor Barr. Caleb Mutfwang’s Senior Political Advisor, has confirmed his decision to switch from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

In a conversation with reporters in Abuja on Monday, Nwansat said that all obstacles preventing Muftwang from joining the APC are being removed, and it will only be a matter of time until the decision is made public.

According to Nwansat, the governor’s desire to connect the state with the presence of the federal government and the turbulence and instability inside the PDP were the reasons behind his choice to join the APC.

“His Excellency, Governor Caleb Mutfwang will soon join the APC,” Nwansat stated.

The political and administration trajectory of President Bola Tinubu on the plateau would also be consistent with Muftwang’s upcoming switch to the APC.

“The platform has become an unrealistic platform for political actors to contest elections due to the PDP crisis.”

Mutfwang’s choice to join the APC is the safest, most desirable option with the lowest risk element, according to Nwansat’s evaluation and analysis of all the possibilities.

The governor is joining the APC for this reason. Once more, the governor feels that encouraging his people to support the President is a decent and acceptable leadership action.

“This is because, according to our own assessment as a state, even though we are PDP members, we appreciate and recognize the efforts of Mr. President in putting things right,” Nwansat said in closing.
