NPFL: Plateau United fans call for head coach, Adegun’s sack

Plateau United supporters have called for the disengagement of their technical adviser, Oluwasola Adegun following series of poor results.

The Peace Boys fans were carrying placards with inscription “the coach must go” during their matchday 19 fixture against Abia Warriors in Jos on Sunday.
Plateau United suffered a 1-0 defeat to the Umuahia-based side in the encounter.

Plateau United have recorded six wins, one draw and 12 defeats in 19 matches under the guidance of the young tactician.
They finished the first stanza in 19th position with 19 points.

Meanwhile, the fans also called for improved welfare for the players.
Plateau United are expected to improve on their performance when the take on Abia Warriors in the reverse fixture when the second stanza begins.
