ADC: Kwankwaso Laments Failed Meeting With Bala, Reports to Emir

Rabiu Kwankwaso, the former governor of Kano State, disclosed that Nafiu Bala did not attend a scheduled meeting between the two of them.

It was understood that the purpose of the gathering was to find solutions to the problems affecting the African Democratic Congress’s (ADC) leadership and operations.

Kwankwaso, however, was said to have stated that he spent the entire night anticipating Bala’s arrival for the meeting, but the politician failed to show up.

In an interview with DCL Hausa, Kwankwaso urged the Gombe Emir, other Emirs, and Sheikhs to persuade Bala not to act against the ADC’s interests.

Bala’s absence, according to Kwankwaso, who just defected to the ADC, was a lost chance for the young politician to receive fatherly guidance.

“I was waiting for Nafiu Bala yesterday until daylight, but he never showed up. I’ve been told he won’t arrive. During the interview, Kwankwaso said, “I wasn’t happy about it.”

“I told him that he shouldn’t turn into the lizard at the mouth of the pot,” he continued, using a sharp local metaphor.

Kwankwaso revealed that he intended to counsel Bala “like from father to son,” pointing out that the politician, who was born in Gombe, is a young man who was born in 1990.

Bala’s efforts toward democracy and the African Democratic Congress (ADC) “will not help him,” he said.

Additionally, the former governor of Kano State urged Gombe’s lawmakers and leaders to call Bala to order.

“Whoever observes him ought to counsel him to stop bringing issues to the ADC.

They claim he’s from Gombe. He continued, “I asked the Gombe Emir and other Emirs, MPs, and Sheikhs who know him to speak with him.

According to reports, Bala has been vying for the ADC leadership position, which led the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to de-recognize David Mark and Rauf Aregbesola as the party’s leaders until the legal matter regarding the ADC’s national leadership is resolved.
