Daniel Bwala, who is President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Policy Communication, has said that the African Democratic Congress (ADC) coalition is using blackmail and doesn’t have a clear plan for the country.
Bwala said that the group was trying to scare Nigerians into backing it.
He wrote on X, “Desperate people do desperate things.” Normally, their coalition would give people hope and excitement, but since they don’t have a clear plan or alternative for Nigeria, no one pays attention to them.
He also said that the coalition’s plan had not worked and that it was spreading false information.
“You would think that with @PeterObi bringing in fake news CSO, fake TV anchors, and fake movement of irrational and double standards Obidient, they would create momentum. But anything fake hardly lasts,” he said.
Bwala also said that the coalition was trying to sway voters by making Nigeria look bad to the rest of the world.
“They are now blackmailing Nigeria and the Nigerian people in front of the rest of the world. They are expecting hard and harsh treatment that will hurt the lives and economy of ordinary Nigerians so that Nigerians will be scared into voting for them. That’s political banditry,” he said.
He questioned whether the coalition’s actions were legal, saying that a group accused of taking over a political party by force couldn’t build a credible opposition.
“But wait, can people who act like the Gestapo to take over a political party and kidnap its members really build opposition?”
