Buhari appoints five new permanent secretaries
President Muhammadu Buhari, on Friday, approved the appointment of five new Permanent Secretaries in the Federal Civil Service, following the recent conduct of the selection process.
The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan, made this known on Friday in Abuja.
Yemi-Esan said the appointed Federal Permanent Secretaries and their states of origin are as follows: Adebiyi Olusesan Olufunso(Ekiti), Onwudiwe Maryann Ngozi (Enugu), Yusuf Ibrahim Idris (Katsina), Ogunbiyi Marcus Olaniyi (Lagos) and Ibrahim Abubakar Kana (Nasarawa).

A statement by Mr. AbdulGaniyu Aminu, Director, Press and Public Relations, in the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, said the date of the swearing-in and deployment of the appointees would be announced in due course.
