THE National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has thanked President Muhammadu Buhari for visiting him in London.
He made the submission in a note of appreciation contained in a statement released by his media office yesterday.
Recall that President Buhari on Thursday, visited the ex-Lagos State Governor in London.
According to the APC stalwart, the President’s gesture shows he is caring and humble.
Tinubu while appreciating President Buhari also wished him the best as he continues to direct the affairs of the country.
The full statement reads: “All Progressives Congress National stalwart, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has expressed his deep thanks to President Muhammadu Buhari for visiting him in London on 12 August.
“The visit was a friendly and welcome one that underscored the considerate and caring personality of our nation’s President and Commander-in-Chief.
“By this gesture, Mr. President has, again, demonstrated his personal thoughtfulness and humility; defying the erroneous commentaries peddled by his critics.
“Once again, Asiwaju thanks President Buhari for taking the time to visit him and wishes the President nothing but the very best as his administration continues to govern and lead the nation.”
Meanwhile, President Buhari last night arrived in the country after a two-week trip to the United Kingdom.
