Nollywood actress, Ini Edo has debunked speculations that she once had a romantic affair with her colleague, Empress Njamah’s disgraced estranged lover, Josh Wade.
TNN recall that Wade was arrested on Monday by the Liberian police for blackmailing several women.
A police source said the serial blackmailer had nudes of over 20 women.
Thereafter, news broke on the Nigerian social media space that actress Ini Edo was among the 20 other women the Liberian dated and collected their nudes.
Her colleague, Nkechi Blessing Sunday fuelled the rumours after she replied to a fan who was initially doubting the speculations under her post on Instagram.
Affirming Ini Edo’s affair with Wade, Nkechi Blessing wrote, “My dear she sef dey oooo sadly”.
But in an Instagram live session on Tuesday night, Ini Edo claimed she declined Wade’s sexual advances.
The thespian said the Liberian had contacted her imposing as a movie producer who wanted to cast her in his movie.
According to her, screenshots of her passport as well as a video call they did were seen on Wade’s phone because he had promised to book her a flight in South Africa for them to meet up.
She maintained that her conversation with Wade was strictly on business.
