The 10th Senate has vowed to ensure effective leadership, according to Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
He made the commitment while accepting the Nigerian Army Meritorious Award at the Adekunle Fajuyi Cantonment in Ibadan, which served as the celebration’s grand conclusion.
Sen. Sharafadeen Alli (APC-Oyo South), who was Akpabio’s representative, said the award was a fantastic gesture from the Nigerian Army to recognize Akpabio’s successful legislation and provision of good administration.
He praised the Nigerian Army for supporting Akpabio’s current course of good service delivery.
According to Alli, the 10th National Assembly would not let down Nigerians under Akpabio’s leadership and will produce effective laws to deal with a range of issues.
