Megamu contends that since they contributed to Kalu’s development, they were entitled to compensation.

According to a copy of a letter from Julien Deux, the head of FIFA’s judicial bodies (adjudicatory), Watford has still not met its financial obligations to the Megamu Football Academy Club.

“In this regard, we wish to inform the parties that FIFA has implemented a ban on the international registration of new players as of July 19, 2023.

Additionally, and in accordance with the aforementioned decision, the Football Association (in copy) is urged to immediately enforce on the respondent Club Watford FC, if not already done, a ban from signing new players at the national level.

The Watford Observer also notes that the administrative issue is already on the verge of being resolved.
