Abubakar Momoh, the Minister of Niger Delta Development, reiterated his commitment to ensuring stability in the country’s oil-rich region in a statement issued on Sunday in Abuja.
The minister, who also congratulated Edo and Delta states on their 32nd year of existence, urged the citizens of the two states to reflect on the challenges and victories achieved over the years.
“Today, we celebrate the 32nd anniversary of the creation of Delta and Edo states from the former Bendel State, which is a significant milestone in the history of our beloved region.” This event is significant because it not only commemorates our shared journey but also represents the strength of our unity and the potential for progress that lies ahead.
