In order to aid other security agencies in combating kidnapping, armed robbery, and other associated crimes in the state, Kaduna State Governor Senator Uba Sani has begun training 7,000 new recruits for the Kaduna Vigilance Service.
The governor also said that the 23 local government areas in the state provided the recruits who were being trained at the Police College in Kaduna, the state’s capital.
After undergoing rigorous training, the recruits will support security forces’ efforts to eradicate crime in the state, according to Sani, who spoke at the occasion.
The governor added that the lack of regular security agencies in the fight to address security issues throughout the state made the recruiting vital.
The Kaduna Vigilance Service is an additional security organization, he claimed. It will provide useful intelligence to the security agencies. Bandits won’t have a spot to hide thanks to its understanding of the local environment.
“Starting this training is a significant step toward keeping our pledge to the deserving citizens of Kaduna State. In the blueprint for our administration, we vowed to improve KADVS’s workforce and “total operating capacity. Since its founding, KADVS has cooperated with security organizations to weaken criminal elements.
However, we must contend with a lack of staff to effectively fight off bandits and other criminal groups. This is the rationale for the administration’s decision to hire 7,000 new members for the Kaduna Vigilance Service (KADVS).
“Our local government chairmen, traditional and religious leaders, important stakeholders at the grassroots level, and security agencies worked collaboratively to recruit and screen the trainees.”
“This prize is all about service to humanity in general and the capacity to put what one has learned into practice in real-world situations to improve the lives of others.
What we are doing right now is establishing agricultural technologies that will enable us to escape food scarcity and instability, increase our income, and boost the economy as a whole.
