In a collision involving a bus and a Mazda automobile at Ayedere on the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway, two people have been confirmed dead and one person injured.

To newsmen in Abeokuta, the incident was confirmed by Babatunde Akinbiyi, the spokesperson for the Ogun Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps.

According to Akinbiyi, the accident happened at 7:10 a.m. when the driver of the unregistered Mazda car went against traffic and collided head-on with the Mazda bus bearing the license plate SEY 311 ZY.

A motor boy was hurt, and the two drivers of the two vehicles perished, according to a TRACE representative.

According to Akinbiyi, the car’s driver was whisked away by his family for burial while the injured motor boy had been transferred to a local hospital when TRACE arrived.
Furthermore, he attested to the fact that the body of the bus driver had been placed in the mortuary of the Ifo General Hospital.

The white Mazda bus was on its correct lane, heading out of Abeokuta, according to an eyewitness, and it was filled down with food. Both drivers of the bus and the unregistered Mazda died as a result of the impact of the incident when their cars met while traveling in a banned manner per traffic law.

He stated, “The motorboy of the white Mazda bus experienced various degrees of injury and has been transported to a private clinic for medical assistance.

Route breaches, according to Akinbiyi, carry a number of risks, so he urged drivers to abstain from them.
