Daniel Bwala and Don Pedro Obaseki, spokespersons for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential candidate in the most recent election, Atiku Abubakar, have come under fire from Lere Olayinka, a former adviser to Ayodele Fayose and former candidate for the House of Representatives for the Ekiti Central Federal Constituency.
According to rumours, Nyesom Wike, a former governor of Rivers State, and the minister of the Federal Capital Territory have recently been called for to be expelled by Bwala and Obaseki.
In a statement on Monday, Olayinka claimed that Bwala and Obaseki’s recent attack on Wike was motivated by political resentment. She also predicted that Bwala and Obaseki, along with others like them, would soon abandon Atiku and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Olayinka referred to the pair as ‘anywhere belle face’ politicians and characterised them as nomadic. She also found it amusing that Bwala, who was a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) when Atiku first declared his candidature for president of the PDP last year, was the one who spearheaded Wike’s expulsion from the party.
The more Atiku continues to pay their expenses, including lodging and food in “one of the best hotels in Abuja,” he said, “including disparaging Wike and others like Ayo Fayose, who stood by the PDP when Atiku and others left in 2014.”
He felt it was disrespectful that the PDP renters were now demanding the home’s owners be kicked out.
“I give them until January of next year, these roving politicians who are fattening on Atiku’s money will dump him for their next political victim,” Olayinka added.

“I saw Bwala’s most recent tweets, in which he claimed that those who called for peace in the PDP and said that the party should manage Wike were actually buying him (Wike) more time to carry out his divisive agenda against the party. He continued by saying that Wike has never been loyal or faithful to anyone.
“I also read Pedro Obaseki’s press release in which he stated that the PDP needed to remove Wike from office immediately.
The fact that PDP is being represented by roving politicians like Bwala and Obaseki is extremely distressing. The same Obaseki switched between the APC, Accord Party, and PDP between 2016 and 2017, rotating between them.
“Funny that the same Obaseki who was everywhere campaigning against his own cousin, Governor Godwin Obaseki, and teamed up with outsiders against his own blood will not stop masturbating over Wike,” someone once quipped. It’s ironic that Bwala, who criticised the PDP up until July of last year and still couldn’t let go of his animosity towards the group even after leaving the APC, is the one bringing up loyalty as if he has ever had any other allegiances than to his stomach.
He claimed that after he and others left the PDP in 2014, Atiku treated those who remained and continued the party with disrespect and insults.
“You left your father’s home and teamed up with outsiders to throw stones at the house, while your other siblings stayed to repair the damages you and the outsiders caused to the house,” he said.
Then, a few years later, you came back to take the master bedroom, choosing to send your siblings—who were still living in the house and shared rooms with you—out to live with those whom you had thrown stones at. Do you believe God will grant you the ability to sleep soundly in that home?
“For us, the true supporters of the PDP, we shall be here while Atiku finishes his meal. The PDP will then one again come to life as these emergency lovers move on to their new victims.
